I pushed the books on the second shelf back so that she couldn't reach them (because she pulls them out but can't put them back!) but she got around that with no problem

The other day I was in the next room talking to someone for a while, periodically checking on Lina who *was* playing nicely on the floor. Apparently I stayed in the other room just long enough for her to discover the candy canes. I looked in the room and couldn't see her at first but then saw her hiding behind the cushion with a big chunk, wrapper and all, in her mouth just drooling all over the place.

why do we even bother buying toys?
